The benefits of the cn2 line, how to test whether the server is a CN2 line?

CN2 line is a high-quality line launched by China Telecom, also known as China Telecom's next-generation bearer network. It is the best quality network bandwidth line currently launched by China Telecom.

First of all, let me explain the concept of "CN2 line". The so-called CN2 (CNNN) line means that the line used by the server is a line directly connected to telecommunications, and its core technology is IP/MPLS.

However, it should be noted that the direct connection line of China Telecom is not necessarily the CN2 line. Because, at present, there are two types of peers that go through the telecom exit, one is the ordinary direct connection as4134, and the CN2 line is as4809. These two are sufficient and unnecessary conditions.

So, to be more precise, the CN2 line means that the server uses the as4809 line directly connected to China Telecom, and its salient features are as follows:

1. At the IP level, achieve fast route convergence of less than 500ms on average, stable restart of IGP/BGP protocols, network-wide multicast, and the potential for a smooth upgrade to IPv6.

2. The CN2 line server can meet more business applications, such as voice, video, data, leased line, international interconnection and other services. In order to effectively meet the QoS requirements of the carried services, the server of the CN2 line provides high-performance network indicators, such as the average one-way delay, the highest one-way delay, and the one-way packet loss rate, which have reached the current international high s level.

How to test whether the server is on the CN2 line?

Test method: query by tracing the route, run the command window on the cn2 server

(Click the start menu of the computer, open the running tool, and enter cmd), and enter "tracert –d

Test IP", and then press "Enter" to confirm:

If the IP of 59.43.*.* appears in the figure above when you test the traceroute, it means that it is the CN2 line, because the 59.43 network segment is the characteristic of the CN2 line.

If the trace route test finds that there is no IP starting with 59.43, it means that it is not the server of the CN2 line.

Is the method very simple? You can use this method to judge when renting the CN2 line server in the future.
