The fourth step is to change Swappiness. Swappiness is the in-memory process that manages the Swap partition. The value is high, meaning that many files and processes enter the memory, which is generally slower than ram memory. If we keep this to a minimum, Ubuntu will allocate more processes for faster system memory. Then, change the exchange value to do so. Open the terminal and type:

sudo bash -c "echo 'vm.swappiness = 10' >> /etc/sysctl.conf"

The fifth step is to clean up unnecessary files. Some old installation packages, temporary creation files, junk files, etc. can cause Ubuntu to slow down. To solve this problem, the best is to use Ubuntu adjustment, which is a very useful tool that can customize Ubuntu outside, but also can clean up junk files and temporary files.
